China Tour Tips


Office Hour
8 hours a day, 9 am to 5 pm; 5 days one week (Monday to Friday)
Hotels also offer the 24 hours service to customer.
Shops, department stores and supermarkets are open every day from 09:00 to 21:00.
Restaurants and bars open from around 10:00 to the late night.
Hospitals, post offices, banks and tourist attractions open daily from 09:00 to 17:00. The hospital clinics and its first-aid center are served for 24 hours.


Drinking Water
The tap water in China is undrinkable unless it is boiled
Usually, hotel provides two bottles of water per day in the room. While some hotels offers watering trough instead of bottled water.
Most of hotels in China offers water heater for travelers to boil water.
Boiled water is provided free before meal. And you may order other beverage in the restaurant.
Bottled water is easy to find in any shop or supermarket. The price is not high.


Electricity
The electricity in China is generally 220V, 50HZ.
You need transformer & plug adaptor if you brought electric device to China.


Money
Chinese money: RMB or CNY
Money unit: Yuan or Kuai
Fractional units: Jiao and Fen
1Yuan = 10 Jiao = 100 Fen
It is easy and convenient to exchange money in local bank.
Credit card and travelers check are acceptable in some big shop and supermarket.
You may pay local tour operator in advance by wired transfer.

Best season of Beijing China tour
Spring to Autumn is the best season of Beijing tour.
Please avoid national holiday when visit china, May 1 to May 7 & October 1 to Ocotber 7.
